What the Hay?

Did you know that at one time the cemetery grew its own hay and straw?

The transport of heavy materials was done by horse and wagon.

If you had horses you needed to house (stable) them and feed them.

 

To that end BNC grew its own hay and harvested it for use by the cemetery's equine haulers. These pictures are from the 1950's
