Evelyn Fergle

With the passing of Evelyn Fergle, Friends of BNC has lost one of its founders, a tireless volunteer and a dear friend.

At a 2003 meeting of the Bohemian National Cemetery Association delegates, Evelyn took action after a year of discussions when she proposed a friends group should form to help the cemetery.  From the back of the room came the response  “I think Evelyn Fergle should start it!" Even though she lived in Michigan, Evelyn accepted the job. Read her account of Friends of BNC history at this link: Friends of BNC History
